The Petzl Sirocco is one of the lightest climbing helmets available, designed for long sessions where weight and comfort matter. At just 160–170 g, it virtually disappears on your head while still delivering high-level protection.
Its hybrid construction combines EPP side foam with EPS top foam, reinforced by a thin polycarbonate shell. This results in an optimal balance between weight, impact absorption, and durability.
The Sirocco is built according to Petzl’s TOP AND SIDE PROTECTION concept, meaning it protects not only against vertical impacts but also from the front, sides, and rear — where many real-world impacts occur.
Comfort is dialed in for long use. The low-profile fit, adjustable webbing system, and unobstructed field of view ensure the helmet stays secure without interfering with movement or vision. Integrated ventilation channels keep airflow high, even during intense sessions.
