This full 50-metre roll of Edelrid PES Cord is built for anyone who ties prusik loops regularly or needs larger quantities of cord — guides, climbing schools, rental operators, or anyone who prefers to cut to their own length. The 100% polyester cord combines high abrasion resistance, low stretch and excellent knotability thanks to its special sheath construction, giving it a supple feel in the hand and reliable knot-holding.
At 5 mm, this is the classic diameter for prusik knots: compact and lightweight, with enough grip to bite reliably on the rope. The polyester fibers resist abrasion, moisture and heat, so the cord holds its properties session after session. EN 564 certified and made in Germany.
With 50 metres to work with, you can cut multiple prusik loops or use the cord for rigging and tag lines as needed. Sold only as a full roll, in blue.
