Description

The ultra-light OHMEGA (190 g) is a versatile brake-assist belay device that adds safety, comfort and control for climbers of all levels.
Its integrated HMPE sling system lets you switch between 3 braking levels with one hand movement, helping to balance weight differences within any rope team — from indoor beginners to alpine pros.

The built-in pulley reduces friction at the first bolt (vs. a quickdraw), allowing smooth climbing and dynamic belaying with minimal activation distance.
During a fall, the cam engages to support the belayer, lowering forces, preventing ground lift-offs, reducing collision risk, and braking reliably even under active load into the device.

A compact safety assistant that lives in your backpack, built by one of the most trusted innovators in climbing hardware: Edelrid.
