Workshop 1950 - Grip Logs
In stock
The Grip Logs are cylindrical grip tools designed to develop open-hand grip strength through hanging, pulling, or lifting.
They are suited for climbers who want to train sloper-like grip strength in a simple and scalable way.
What this solves
Standard bars allow full hand wrapping, reducing grip demand. Climbers need tools that force more open-hand engagement.
How this solves it
The cylindrical shape limits how much the hand can close, especially at larger diameters, forcing continuous grip engagement similar to slopers.
Why this tool
Unlike rotating handles, these provide a stable and repeatable stimulus. Increasing the diameter directly increases difficulty, making progression simple and clear.
Best for
Beginner / Advanced / Expert — for climbers who want to build open-hand and sloper-related grip strength.
Key features
Multiple diameters (40–70 mm)
Open-hand dominant grip stimulus
Stable and repeatable loading
Suitable for hanging, pull-ups, and lifting
Solid beech wood construction
Used with
Pull-up bar or anchor point
Carabiner or cord
Loading pin or weights (optional)
