Petzl Bug Backpack

The Petzl Bug is an 18-litre backpack built for single-day multi-pitch climbing, while being versatile enough for everyday use too. Its low-profile, rounded rectangular shape sits snug against your back and stays out of the way during technical movement, so it won't interfere with your climbing.

The pack carries high on the back, giving you unobstructed access to your harness and gear loops, and the stowaway waistbelt tucks away completely when you don't need it — ideal for approaches where you want full freedom of movement. A clamshell top opening means you never have to unzip down the sides, so nothing falls out mid-climb. Side compression straps and a top rope strap let you carry a rope securely on the outside, while sewn daisy loops give you extra attachment points for shoes or a chalk bag.

Inside, you'll find a wide exterior pocket, an interior compartment suited to a hydration reservoir or laptop, a wallet pocket, and a topo pocket on the back panel — enough organisation for a full day of climbing, from the approach to the last pitch.
