Rustam's Monik, Training Grip
In stock
The Monik is a mono pocket training tool designed to build single-finger strength through weighted loading.
It is suited for climbers targeting mono-specific strength in a simple and direct way.
What this solves
Standard training tools do not isolate individual fingers effectively. Climbers aiming to improve mono strength need a way to load a single finger directly.
How this solves it
The mono pocket allows a single finger to take the full load. When used with a loading pin, it enables progressive overload for targeted finger strength development.
Why this tool
Compared to more controlled mono tools, this design allows the finger to move deeper into the pocket, making positioning less fixed. This offers flexibility, but reduces repeatability compared to more constrained designs.
Best for
Advanced / Expert — for climbers who want to build single-finger strength using a simple, direct loading approach.
Not ideal for
Not ideal for beginners or precise, repeatable testing. The less fixed finger position makes it harder to standardize loading across sessions.
