Volume Gripper, Grip Strength
In stock
The Crushclub Volume Grippers are grip training tools designed to replicate volume-style climbing through open-hand compression and friction-based gripping.
They are suited for climbers who want to train volume-specific grip mechanics in a controlled way.
What this solves
Volume climbing relies on friction, body positioning, and open-hand pressure rather than pure finger strength. These qualities are difficult to isolate and train off the wall.
How this solves it
The angled, textured surface mimics the feel of climbing volumes, forcing you to apply pressure through the palm and fingers while maintaining tension.
Why this tool
Unlike traditional grip tools, this focuses on surface contact and compression rather than pulling. The ability to add weight allows progressive overload in a movement pattern closer to volume climbing.
Best for
Intermediate / Advanced — for climbers who want to improve volume climbing and open-hand compression strength.
Key features
Volume-like textured surface
Two angle options (75° / 90°)
Designed for open-hand and compression grip
Rotating eyelet for weight attachment
Made from recycled materials
Used with
Loading pin or weights
Carabiner (not included)
