Ocun
Ocún started in 1988 when founder Pavel Hendrych, an engineer with a passion for climbing, began making harnesses on his grandmother's sewing machine, using decommissioned parachute material for fabric. That hands on, problem solving spirit is still at the core of the brand today, now developed and produced by around a hundred people in the Czech Republic.
The range covers climbing shoes, harnesses, crash pads, quickdraws, ropes, belay devices, and chalk, built on genuine innovations: Ocún introduced climbing crack gloves to mass production in 2001, developed the patented 3 Force System for better shoe precision, and created their own CAT rubber compound for grip. All products are designed and tested by the Ocún team, including two of the world's most experienced climbers.
Max Climbing ships Ocún gear worldwide from our Ghent warehouse, with fast, reliable delivery.
