The Huit (100 g) is a forged aluminum figure-eight descender, built for controlled rappelling on single or half ropes (8 – 13 mm) and compatible with 8 – 13 mm dynamic or static ropes (8–13 mm, 8–13 mm range).
Its square shape reduces rope twist and helps prevent girth-hitch knots and rope kinking, making every descent cleaner and more efficient.
Forged from high-strength aluminum — the same material trusted in hardware from Edelrid to Alpine belay systems — it offers durability for long-term use.
The small connection hole allows belaying on thin ropes and doubles as a belay plate mode if needed.
