Chalk Rebels was founded in 2020 with one goal: better grip, without the environmental cost. Most climbing chalk is mined, but Chalk Rebels makes theirs from seawater, a byproduct of desalination turned into clean, high performance chalk.

The range includes chunky and smooth chalk powder, chalk bags and carry boxes, and Magic Chalk, a liquid chalk made with Upsalite, an ultra absorbent form of magnesium carbonate developed at Uppsala University that offers a proven 2x friction boost, the first real innovation in chalk in over 50 years. Alongside chalk, Chalk Rebels makes skincare products like repair balm and cream to keep climbers' hands in shape between sessions. Everything is made in Europe, and the brand is a member of 1% for the Planet.
