The Edelrid KIDS SHIELD is a lightweight and robust softshell helmet designed specifically for children and teenagers. Combining reliable protection with a modern look and excellent ventilation, it keeps young climbers safe and comfortable on every outing.

Its In-Mold construction features a durable polycarbonate shell with an EPS foam core for full protection — tested for side, front, and rear impacts according to EN 12492. The updated Wing Fit system with rear dial ensures a secure fit for all head shapes, while large vents keep the head cool. For added versatility, versions with orange elements also comply with EN 1078, making them suitable for cycling.
