Beastmaking - Ned Feehally

Beastmaking – A Fingers-First Approach to Climbing Training

Beastmaking is the go-to guide for climbers serious about building strength, avoiding injury, and understanding the long game of progression. Written by Ned Feehally, one of the UK’s top boulderers and co-founder of Beastmaker, this book focuses on finger strength as the foundation of climbing performance — while also addressing mindset, recovery, and smart, sustainable training.

Clear, grounded, and experience-driven, Beastmaking goes beyond quick fixes to offer a deep dive into how to train effectively over time. Whether you’re new to structured training or looking to refine your fingerboard routine, this book provides the practical tools and critical thinking needed to level up without burning out.

Perfect for climbers who want to train hard, but more importantly — train smart.
