The Edelrid SWIFT 48 ECO DRY is a versatile high-performance rope certified for use as a single, double, and twin rope — making it the ideal companion for alpine objectives, demanding trad routes, and high-end sport climbs. With a diameter of just 8.9 mm, it's one of the thinnest single ropes on the market and offers top-tier handling, safety, and durability.
Made on a 48-bobbin braiding machine, its sheath is exceptionally fine and abrasion-resistant, ensuring smooth handling and long-lasting performance. Thanks to Edelrid’s Eco Dry treatment, this rope is PFC- and PFAS-free, and provides permanent water and dirt resistance — with water absorption under 2%, outperforming UIAA standards.
