Mad Rock Lifeguard

The Mad Rock Lifeguard is a compact and lightweight assisted-braking belay device designed for climbers who value performance and simplicity. Weighing just 154 grams and measuring 11.4 cm x 7 cm x 3.8 cm, it’s one of the most portable options on the market, crafted from aircraft-grade aluminum for superior durability.

Featuring assisted-braking technology, the Lifeguard offers smooth and reliable catch capabilities while maintaining a natural belaying feel. Unlike many other devices, it operates effectively with a wide range of single ropes (8.9–11 mm) and performs best with medium-diameter ropes. Its intuitive design ensures controlled lowering and seamless feeding of slack, making it a versatile option for lead climbing and top-roping alike.

Whether you’re an experienced belayer or looking for a robust device that’s easy to use, the Mad Rock Lifeguard provides safety, reliability, and precision in a lightweight package. Ideal for climbers seeking a dependable belay tool for their adventures.
