The One Arm Trainer was designed to efficiently train one arm - right after the other - in a way that no traditional fingerboard can do.

How it works:

  • The One Arm Trainer hangs up on one rope
  • By keeping the board horizontal while training, you can maximize the efficiency and achieve the best results from your workout
  • By changing the position of the rope, you can increase the strength needed in one arm (and decrease the strength needed in the other)
    • Move the rope away from the center to gradually increase the difficulty of hanging or pulling up on the One Arm Trainer

Sustainability:

The rubberwood we use for these products is from a completely sustainable source! Currently, rubber plantation trees are harvested for wood after they complete the latex producing cycle, when they are 25 to 30 years old.

When the latex yields become extremely low, the trees are then felled, and new trees are usually planted. This makes rubberwood 'eco-friendly' because the wood is harvested from a renewable source.

FAQs

When doing an archer pull up, your body will move diagonally. This means that the weight on each arm/hand will vary depending on where you are in the pull up. The OAT makes you move vertically which ensures that you train the entire motion with constant weight, just like when you do a one arm pull up.

The Maxgrips are not required for the OAT; however, they bring crimps, slopers and jugs to the table.

If you want to train with more than just pinches, the Maxgrip or Maxgrip Hybrid is a great way to do it.

Building upon the expierience of producing our popular traditional Maxgrips for nearly 5 years now, it was a natural step to design and produce a wooden version of them!

Lightweight, extra skin friendly, made from eco-friendly rubberwood, combined with the tested design and functionality of the traditional Maxgrips, this tool is a must-have for any passionate climber!

With 6 different gripping positions this hang hold is truly multifunctional and an excellent choice for both core tension and upper body strength exercises. Whether you want your holds up high up or down low to the floor, the rope length adjusters allow you to quickly change the rope length for various exercises. For instance:

  • Training with uneven loads by hanging one hold higher than the other.
  • Push-up exercises with your hands on the Maxgrips offer a great challenge, activating your stabilizing muscles.
  • Suspension trainer setup in order to train your antagonists and work on your posture.
